Dr. Ronald Curran      Dr. Gail Benton

Drs. Curran and Benton received both Dental and Pediatric Dentistry Education at LSU Dental School.  The Pediatric Dentistry Program at LSU is one of the finest in the country.  It was a well balanced program with experiences at Children's Hospital, Charity Hospital and LSU Dental School.  They received training with special needs patients, pediatric medicine, anesthesia, conscious sedation, orthodontics and guidance of eruption.

Drs. Curran and Benton each have two children. They both feel that there is an education in raising your own child and both teach residents in pediatric dentistry.  "This has made us better pediatric dentists. In order to instruct other dentists, you had better know your material."

"I am fortunate to have a great variety of dental practice experiences such as in a central city clinic, as a dentist for the New Orleans Health Department and the government. I have had associateships in other pediatric dental offices and experience in a rural practice".

"I enjoy what I do.  There is such an enormous feeling of accomplishment because children respond so quickly to proper guidance.  Turning a frightened child into a good dental patient is very rewarding."
